Ben Affleck is Batman: First Look At The Actor in Costume for ‘Batman Vs. Superman’

Courtesy of the folks over at Warner Bros. and Man of Steel helmer Zack Snyder, the first image of Ben Affleck in costume as the iconic Dark Knight (seen above) has been unveiled. Just yesterday, Snyder teased the fanboys over on Twitter with an image of a partially-covered Batmobile (which you can see below), but now he has released the first official image of Ben Affleck in costume, as well as a better look at his vehicle of choice.

Personally, I think this may just be the best big-screen interpretation of the Batman costume to date. It looks to be taking inspiration from both iconic Batman comics (perhaps Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns most notably) as well as the recent string of Arkham video games. Although the image is shot in black & white, it appears to be the first big-screen Batman (apart from Adam West) to be donning gray and, as far as I’m concerned, that’s a very good thing.

Although it has yet to receive an official title, the film that most are referring to as Batman Vs. Superman will be hitting theaters May 6, 2016.
