The Asylum’s Mega Shark VS. Mecha Shark is the third film in the Mega Shark franchise.  You read that right, there were two  previous films in which Mega Shark  first fought a Giant Octopus and then the dreaded Crocosaurus.  The creature this time that will be battling Mega Shark is an equally large Mechanical Shark… how clever…

FX guru Emile Edwin Smith directs from a script by Jose Prendes (The Haunting Of Whaley House) and will  star  Elisabeth Rohm (Angel, Law & Order), Christopher Judge (Stargate SG-1), and original Mega Shark heroine Debbie Gibson.

Mega Shark VS. Mecha Shark will take a bite out of DVD, BluRay and VOD on January 28, 2014.  The newly released  CGI-filled trailer can be watched down below.
