Dr. Morbid’s Short Horror Film ‘SLIME-BUCK’ Is Becoming A Reality
Earlier this month, a film crew descended upon the Cerilli household in Cranston, Rhode Island to make a short horror film. This film, SLIME-BUCK – The Strange Tale of a Boy and his Monster, is directed by local filmmaker Tom DeNucci from a script by our founder here at Morbidly Amusing, Dr. Morbid himself, Kyle Cerilli.
During the last few months of his life, Kyle was working harding on making SLIME-BUCK a reality and contacted DeNucci, a former high school classmate of his, to help him. All these months later and DeNucci, along with the support of Kyle’s amazing parents Annette and Vinny, and his fantastic cast and crew have finished principal photography on the short.
During the shoot, the crew had the pleasure of being visited by local television talk-show The Rhode Show who wanted to do a piece on Kyle and SLIME-BUCK. Above, you can check out their fantastic piece, complete with interviews with director Tom DeNucci as well as Kyle’s parents.
We here at Morbidly Amusing couldn’t be more pleased that Kyle’s final script is coming to fruition and can’t wait to see the final product in all of its glory. We’ll be updating you throughout the next few months on the progress of SLIME-BUCK as well as bringing you official behind-the-scenes content on the making of the film. We’re certain that Dr. Morbid wouldn’t have it any other way.
