Eli Roth Releases ‘The Green Inferno’ Clip and Teaser
Eli Roth has been busy producing a handful of films but it’s been six long years since he’s actually directed a horror film. That all changes next year when Roth drags us all into The Green Inferno, his latest writing/directing venture. The Green Inferno is about a group of student activists who travel from New York City to the Amazon to save a dying tribe but crash in the jungle and are taken hostage by the very natives they protected. So picture Cannibal Holocaust, but without real-life animal torture, and directed by Roth.
Roth was a guest on The Tonight Show on Halloween night, and during his appearance he premiered the first clip from the film. No release date has been set for the film, but you can check out the clip by following the link down below. The video underneath is the first official teaser that has been released. Even though That Other Raimi Brother wasn’t impressed with this one, I’m still excited to see some Eli Roth cannibalistic savagery.
