First Official Trailer For The Long-Awaited ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’
Robert Rodriguez’s feature film adaptation of Frank Miller’s graphic novel series Sin City was released nine years ago, way back in 2005, and us fans of the movie have been waiting for a sequel ever since. Rodriguez, instead of directing a sequel right away, diverted his attention to films like Planet Terror, Machete and unfortunately the sequel to that film.
Now, nearly a full decade later, that long-awaited sequel entitled Sin City: A Dame to Kill For has an actual release date of August 22nd. The first official trailer for the film has just hit the net, which you can check out below. The film is also being co-directed by Frank Miller, the creator of the graphic novel, and the plot serves as both a prequel and a sequel to the 2005 film, telling four different interlinking stories, two of which were written specifically for the film.
Do you think that the wait for Sin City sequel will be worth the long wait? Or do you think that Rodriguez will continue his downward spiral that he started with Machete Kills? What the trailer and figure it out for yourselves.
