First Trailer for Critically-Acclaimed Indie Horror Flick ‘It Follows’
One of the most-talked about horror films of the 2014 festival circuit has now unveiled its first trailer.
David Robert Mitchell’s It Follows debuted all the back at Cannes in May and followed its premiere up with many festival stints, including one at Fantastic Fest where it won awards for Best Film and Best Screenplay in the Next Wave category. It was also recently announced for Sundance’s Midnight program in January and, while it doesn’t yet have a US release date, it’s expected to find some sort of stateside release by RADiUS in the first quarter of 2015.
In the meantime, the first international trailer for It Follows has dropped to give horror aficionados who missed it on the festival circuit their first taste. The films centers on 19-year-old Jay who “after a seemingly innocent sexual encounter…finds herself plagued by strange visions and the inescapable sense that someone, or something, is following her.”
Check out the fantastic teaser below. We here at Morbidly Amusing will be sure to keep you up to date when more info on It Follows‘ release becomes available.
