During the Season 4 finale of AMC’s The Walking Dead Fox unveiled the first TV spot for Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes.  Due out in theaters on July 11th, with Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, Let Me In) directing, the film stars Andy Serkis, Keri Russell, Gary Oldman, Jason Clarke, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Judy Greer and Jocko Sims.

Here is the plot of the new film, “A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.”

The trailer looks pretty awesome and the Season finale of The Walking Dead was equally as cool, so let’s told that Dawn is half as good as Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes.  Check out the TV spot down below.
