Now here is some intriguing and possibly amazing news that has been reported by Deadline, that James Franco’s Rabbit Bandini Productions has optioned the book and life rights to The Disaster Artist: My Life Inside The Room, which chronicles the making of Tommy Wiseau’s cult classic The Room.  Franco will direct and co-produce the adaptation, and has also expressed interest in starring in the film alongside his brother Dave Franco.  Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are onboard as executive producers, with Ryan Moody penning the screenplay.

The Disaster Artist, which we covered here in a previous post, was written by The Room actor and co-writer Greg Sestero.   The thought of James Franco portraying Tommy Wiseau seems to great to be true, can you say Oscar nomination?  I mean, as long as James Franco isn’t hosting the event I think we should be safe.  Like usual, as soon as more information is revealed we will provide it here for you.
