The Saw franchise was an annual Halloween tradition from 2004 through 2010 and officially came to an end with the so-called Final Chapter, the seventh installment in the series. It ended with the return of Dr. Lawrence Gordon who was last seen hacking off his foot  in the original film  But when we’re dealing with a money-making horror franchise, there is never any real Final Chapter, just look at Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter.

Bloody Disgusting.com received the exclusive news that Lionsgate is indeed actively developing an eighth installment of the hit series. Will Dr. Gordon take over Jigsaw’s work?
