If you’re a regular reader of Morbidly Amusing, you’ve probably heard me (at least attempt to) wax poetic on Joe Begos’ alien abduction horror film Almost Human, which I was fortunate enough to catch at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival. Undoubtedly a film for horror aficionados to look forward to in 2014, the folks over at Blood Disgusting have now learned that IFC Midnight have officially set the film for release to VOD (Video on Demand) and select theaters this coming February 21st.

Coupled with a new announcement poster for the film (which can be seen below), the news of Almost Human‘s release in just a little over a month is certainly welcome news. I can honestly not recommend the film more highly as the perfect example of low-budget horror done well.
