Hot off the news of Rob Zombie’s return to horror, comes the news that Eli Roth has announced his next horror film.  This is great news because previously Roth had spent a long time between directing Hostel 2 and The Green Inferno, which is currently slated to be released September 5th.

Looks like we don’t have to wait too much longer for his fifth feature to be released, which is entitled Knock, Knock.   He co-wrote the script with Aftershock collaborators Nicolas Lopez and Guillermo Amoedo, with a presumed budget of just under $10 million and production set to begin this April.

Knock, Knock follows two young girls who show up, unannounced, at the home of a married man who they proceed to seduce and wreck the seemingly perfect life of.  Sounds interesting to me.  It seems to me that, like Rob Zombie, Roth is either loved or hated amongst horror fans, with me personally a huge fan of his work even though I still consider the second Hostel a let down.
