While we may be a day late on this trailer reveal, you’ll have to forgive me because I was busy watching it on a 24 hour loop. Unveiled this past weekend at Comic-Con, the debut trailer for George Miller’s first Mad Max film in thirty years, Mad Max: Fury Road, is now here to sweep the masses off their feet.

Starring the always exceptional Tom Hardy as our titular hero, Fury Road has had quite a troubled production history, but you certainly wouldn’t know it from this first glimpse. It looks like George Miller is back and ready to demolish cars in the desert for our viewing pleasure, and I couldn’t be more excited about it.

Mad Max: Fury Road will be hitting theaters everywhere May 15, 2015, but in the meantime, feel free to watch the trailer below on an endless loop. I may just have to do the same, again.
