THE HORROR REMAKE BLOODY BRACKET

 

October is the most important month for the horror fanatic.  It is the month of horror movie marathons, horror conventions, haunted houses and hayrides, all culminating in the greatest day of the year (especially for candy crazed children)… Halloween.  Here at Morbidly Amusing, October is a constant celebration of everything that is awesome about horror.  That Other Raimi Brother revealed the first thing on our October schedule, The Halloween Hit List.

The second reveal is The Horror Remake Bloody Bracket.  A bracket that starts with a not-so-Sweet Sixteen list of recent horror remakes, hence the exclusion of The Thing, The Fly and The Blob.  There will be an entry every other day of the month covering each bloody battle, starting this Thursday, October 3rd.  The judges include me Dr. Morbid, That Other Raimi Brother and Ross Tweedy.  The winner will be revealed Halloween Night.  The list of match-ups for Round One can be seen below.
