New ‘Dying Light’ Videogame Trailer Comments On Our Humanity During A Zombie Epidemic
Dead Island, while an entertaining way to waste a couple of hours, never lived up to the amazing heart-wrenching experience that the trailer advertised it to be. The developers of the new game Dying Light have just released a new trailer, which is titled ”Humanity”, that showcases what a zombie epidemic would mean for humankind. Whether the developers are blowing smoke up our asses has yet to be seen, but the game definitely shows potential.
Dying Light is a first-person action survival horror game set in an open world. During the day, players scavenge the world for supplies and crafted weapons to fight the growing infected horde, while at night the infected become aggressive and more dangerous forcing the player to change their strategy. Basically the game looks to be a mix of Don’t Starve and Dead Island.
The new trailer for Dying Light can be seen below and it is set to come out on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC sometime in 2014. Is the game community starting to get sick of zombie games yet? I have an idea, how about a game in which you are a young, horny teenager being stalked by a deranged serial killer? At least it would be a change to the usual formula.
