Silk, a short horror film that looks to shock and terrify anyone with a touch of arachnophobia, has been previously covered during my interview with writer/director Rob Himebaugh.  The film stars Justin Beahm (Sharknado) and Elle Alexandra (Kamikaze Love).

The story is inspired by actual events and the plot is as follows: “Silk” tells the chilling story of Kelly, a CIA field operative in Afghanistan who becomes impregnated by a rare desert spider and, in the film’s horrific climax, gives birth to a brood of hungry spiderlings that eat her alive.
