In Japan, at the base of Mt. Fuji, lies a forest. It’s called Aokigahara and every year people use its confines to end their lives; a ‘suicide forest’ if you will.
This place serves as the setting for the supernatural horror film The Forest, which has now dropped its first trailer.
A girl has gone missing and her twin sister, play by Game of Thrones‘ Natalie Dormer, travels from America to the forest willing to do anything she can to find her, even if its means braving the tormented souls of the dead which haunt the infamous location.
