‘The Babadook’ Gets Unsettling New Trailer
I’ve been hearing a lot of praise for The Babadook ever since it premiered back in January at the Sundance Film Festival, and with the arrival of this new trailer I’m certainly beginning to see why.
Serving as the feature directorial debut of Jennifer Kent, the horror film centers on a mother (Essie Davis) who must deal not only with the recent passing of her husband, but her son’s increasingly terrified state. To say much more would ruin the intriguing horror hook behind The Babadook, but you can find out for yourself via the trailer below. The Babadook hits theaters and VOD November 28th.
