Fantastic Fest has been going strong in Austin, Texas for over ten years now and its latest iteration kicks into high gear next week. With it comes the first trailer for horror remake The Town That Dreaded Sundown, which has its world premiere at the film festival.

The film centers on the town of Texarkana where a masked serial killer returns after a 65 year absence to terrorize its community. The film is directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon (American Horror Story co-creator) and written by Roberto Aquirre-Sacasa (writer of the Carrie remake). It doesn’t have an official release date yet, but it’s expected to find some kind of release this Halloween season. Check out the trailer below.
